Our Special Oil Finish

Our unique oil blend finish, Michael’s Orangewood Oil, is made of several oils, including the Tung tree oil. Tung oil is an ancient oil used for finishing wood. Pressed from seeds from the Chinese tung tree (also known as the China tree), tung oil hardens upon exposure to air. The resulting coating is transparent and has a deep, almost wet look. An added benefit is that it’s long-lasting and organic.
